Philosophy and Critical Thinking

When we learn how to do philosophy, we learn to develop our critical faculties. No longer are we mere receptacles into which knowledge and information is poured. We become evaluators, critics, a and thinkers.

I read through your blog and I agree with you that everything we do in philosopy will involve arguments in one way or the other, and after my Philosopy 100 class, I now see myself as kind of being an evaluator, and more critical in my way of thinking. I hope I will be better of after this class.

I was not able to fully read the book passage but I did read and input some of my knowledge to what was on that website.
